2017 Under 15, 18 and21 Queensland Billiards Championship

Today there were 8 boys contested the Under 18 and Under 21 Billiards Championships at Redlands.

Hayden Goode, Jayden Dinga, Harry Mok, Joshua Hands, Lachlan Mason, Ben Prebble, Kyle Thomson and Joshua Thrift.

Well done to all boys who played as they showed great sportsmanship and support towards each other.

Congratulations goes to Hayden Goode who defeated Kyle Thomson over 90 minutes in the final to take out both the under 18 and under 21 Championships.

Hayden has now won the under 18’s title 3 years in a row with this being his last year in the under 18’s.

The high break for the tournament also went to Hayden with a 64.

Thanks to the following referees for supporting the event to make it a success for the boys: Terry Stewart, Graham Stewart, Alice Wu, Chee Yap, Steve Dewar, Pete Williams.

Thanks to the families and spectators for coming along to support as well.

We had six boys to contest the under 15 Billiards Championship.

Jayden defeated Harry Mok in the final and with 5 minutes to go the scores were level.

The high break went to Harry Mok with a 20 during the round robin.

Congratulations to all boys who performed well but unfortunately we can only have one champion although all were worthy adversaries.
