    MR 99

I propose that we run Minor Grade monthly tournaments as per the Sydney minor grades were run by Ray Balderstone many years ago. The game will be open to all players NOT currently seeded in the top 16. Matches would best of 3, losing player to ref the next game, we could if all clubs agree hold the tournaments at a different venue every month
We would not need referees and the entry fee would be minimal with half the fees going to the venue and the remainder split into prize money.
Finalists and semi finalists will be given a small handicap, (10 points for a final win, and 5 points to runner up and losing semi finalists, capped at a maximum of 15
I would gladly offer to run such tournaments free of charge, so how about it players and club officials ?
